Fred, my neighbor whose older than the hills, stopped me one day as I was in the front yard. “Hey, come over here!” I suspiciously approached him. He points to the sky. I look up and see a plane flying across a blue sky.
“See the streaks that follow the plane?” I’m thinking “uhh yeah, it’s called exhaust…” But I respond with a simple yes. “Chemtrails! They’re spreading chemicals on us! That’s why we get cancer and die!”
That was the first time I heard of chemtrails. I immediately proceeded to look up chemtrails on a trusty source named Wikipedia.
Do Chemtrails Exist?
In my opinion, no. Why? Because contrails. Condensation trails are when the hot humid exhaust mixes with the cold air in the sky. Depending on the weather and temperature of both the jet’s exhaust and the surrounding air, contrails can last longer and be larger in size. The extended hang time for the exhaust is what chemtrail conspiracy theorist claim the chemtrails to be. It’s the long lasting ones that theorists believe to be chemtrails.

For example, if the air is colder than usual or there is more moisture in the air; the contrails are bound to last longer.
Water Displacement Weights
Jet manufacturers use water tanks to test different passenger weights. In distributing the water throughout different parts of the plane, the jets can be tested properly.
Some theorists however believe that these jugs are filled with chemicals. I’m pretty sure the airlines are actually testing their jets (you know, so we don’t die).
What are Chemtrails for?
Chemtrails are believed to be used primarily for weather control, which wouldn’t be totally shocking. The other belief is chemtrails being used for population control. What on earth? (Pun intended).
I don’t believe the chemicals that would be dropped would cause cancer. I believe cancer primarily comes from the pollution and the food we eat, but that’s a topic for another time.
Could chemtrails exist? Yes.
Do I think they exist? No.
One last argument against the chemtrails theorists believe to be true: if chemtrails existed, wouldn’t the government fly their planes high enough so the public doesn’t see them and their trails?
